Ellen Heed is a certified Shiatsu Specialist, Craniosacral Therapist, international teacher of human anatomy, yoga teacher, healer and certified Sexological Bodyworker. She draws from these disciplines when assisting couples in overcoming the barriers to intimacy and mutual sexual satisfaction.

 

 

 

Ellen will help couples reclaim their sex life after childbirth by discussing the inhibiting effect that maternal hormones have on sexual intimacy. Through the use of sexual mindfulness practices, new parents can bring joy and aliveness back into their couple relationship.

Part 2: If You Get Sick, Who Will Mind the Children? ... finding wellbeing and achievable balance in family health

Speakers Pejman Katiraei, OD and Daniel Sadigh,PsyD, MFT,  will discuss how parents often tend to their children's needs while sacrificing their own nutritional, medical, and emotional wellbeing. Effective parenting requires you to maintain your own health as well as your child's. These experts will guide you toward achieving this balance.

 

Part 3: How Do Loving Parents Set Limits Effectively?  (Hint: First, by understanding their child's underlying intentions)

What may appear to be intentional "button-pushing" may actually be appropriate boundary-testing. This panel of child and family experts will host an open dialogue to think with curious parents about this most perplexing of problems.The evening promises to be a lively and enlightening experience!
