School Psychologist

School psychology is a field that applies principles of clinical psychology and educational psychology to the diagnosis and treatment of children's behavioral and learning problems. School psychologists are educated in psychology, child development, child psychopathology, education, family and parenting practices, learning theories, and personality theories. School psychologists are trained to carry out psychological and psycho-educational testing, evaluations and assessments and are usually included in any individualized educational program (IEP) evaluation process.
